Iwaki EWN

Iwaki EWN

The Iwaki EWN-series pumps are electronically controlled solenoid driven metering units capable of highly accurate and easily controlled chemical dosing. Manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic control is possible by combining suitable inbuilt control modules. Additional safety accessories are available for extra security when used in the most critical applications.

Materials:

  • Wetted materials including PVC, ceramic, PTFE, 316 s/steel, Hastelloy C, GFRPP and PVdF are available to handle nearly all chemical solutions.
  • Tubing connections are used for fast and easy installation.

Control Modes EWN-R / EWN-Y EH-E Series:

The standard EWN-R model now combines complete functionality for either manual or automatic operation in a single range: Manual capacity control with either auto stop or external pulse, or; Programmable automatic control from either 4-20mA, preset counter or proportional pulse. Pulse divide/multiply functions with alarm output (EH-E only), flow detection and failure alarm, flow readout in either litres/hr or strokes/min.

Capacities:

  • 12 models cover maximum capacities from 0.7 2.28 to 75.0 litres/hour
  • Discharge pressures up to 10 bar.
  • Turndown range of 720:1 up to 9001800:1 (depending on model) is available using a combination of manual stroke length and automatic stroke frequency control.

Additional variants for specific requirements include:

  • EWN-A type; with automatic degassing pump head for gassing chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite.
  • EWN-Y type; includes all the features of the standard EWN-R, plus the capability of self-calibrating, real-time flow readout when used with the EFS flow sensor incorporating feedback control. Simple flow monitoring functions can be achieved using the optional FCM or FCP flow checkers to detect abnormal flow conditions. Alarm and analogue output functions as standard provide additional options for flow verification.
  • The EWN-A auto degassing valve can be combined with the EWN-Y with EFS for a completely self-calibrating, self-degassing solution with automatic fast-prime capability

Accessories

  • Anti-syphon loading valves, flow detection with alarm output, automatic degassing valves, various tubing connections.

Mono Dosing

Mono Dosing

The Mono range of dosing pumps offers an efficient, reliable and low maintenance solution for applications where low flow, accurate dosing is required. The Mono dosing pump provides a smooth pumping action with no pulsation and very low shear. The pump is ideal for either intermittent or continuous dosing duties in high pressure, low flow applications, and represents a cost-effective and reliable alternative to the more expensive gear pumps traditionally used for these types of duties. The modular design of the new dosing pump allows the four models in the range to cover performance requirements from 25 litres per hour up to 1,250 litres per hour and 72 bar pressure.

Features & Benefits

  • Self-priming with a gentle non pulsating action to help maintain product integrity
  • New coupling rod design offers higher pressure capabilities, up to 72 bar / 1044 psi
  • Most pump components, except body/coupling rod/suction chamber are stainless steel
  • The suction chamber is manufactured in high density polyethylene
  • The end cover and mechanical seal housing is PVDF
  • For severe chemical environments, internal pump components are supplied in Hastelloy
  • Resilient stator - flexible in operation and high resistance to wear - available in a variety of materials, allowing a wide range of products to be pumped
